I’m New

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here.

We’re so glad you’ve taken the time to check out our site and get to know our church.  We look forward to the opportunity to get to know you as well.  We think you’ll find our church to be a warm and welcoming home for anyone looking for grace, love and community.

We hope you join us on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings or any of the other times we get together as a church family.  Our regular weekly schedule is as follows:

Sunday School: 9:30am Sunday
Worship: 10:30am Sunday
Women’s Bible Study: 1:00pm Wednesday
Awanas & Youth Group: 5:30pm Wednesday (October-March)

Please continue reading for some steps you can take to connect with our church and get involved

1

Connect With Us

First of all, we want to know who you are! We hope you will take a step toward us by giving us some information so that we can connect with you in turn.  Feel free to give us as much or as little info as you want, but we’d appreciate a name and email at minimum.

2

Subscribe to Our Newsletter

We send out a newsletter every week with announcements and updates on everything that’s happening in the life our church.  This is the best way to keep up with everything that’s going on.

Join a Sunday School Class

We have classes for every age from young children to senior adults.  We hope you’ll join us as we seek to grow our faith together by studying Scripture and praying for one another.

Adult Sunday School Classes

We have a three adult classes to choose from.  Jason Segar teaches a class primarily for young, working adults and parents of young children.  The other two classes are taught by Bill Ford and Jerry Cook and are geared more for retired or nearly retired adults.  You may want to try out more than one before you decide which class to join.

Children & Youth Sunday School

We have classes for your elementary-aged child or your middle school or high school child.  Our children and youth classes follow the Orange curriculum, which you can learn more about on our children & youth ministries page.

Women's Bible Study

This group meets on Wednesdays at 1:00pm in the annex, so it isn’t technically a “Sunday” school class.  But this IS a time and place for you to plug in and grow your faith.  If you are interested in joining our women’s bible study class, please come or connect with us to learn more.

Life Groups

This isn’t technically a “Sunday” school class either, but again it’s another way to plug in with a small group of people to read the Bible and pray together.  Our life groups are fluid – always changing, expanding, creating new groups, etc… so the best thing to do is contact us if you are interested in starting a life group or joining an old one.

Mowing Team

We have a team of folks that take turns mowing our grass.  The team rotates responsibilities and a team leader coordinates with the team members to make sure the grass is mowed when it needs to be.  Team members need to have their own equipment, but if you have the tools and are willing to serve in this area, please let us know.

Cleaning Teams

We clean our own church, which means having teams that take turns cleaning, much like our mowing team.  We have supplies and instructions printed and available.  If you are interested in serving in this area of our church, let us know.

Nursery Teams

We take turns serving in our nursery so that no one person is responsible for doing it every Sunday.  For those who serve, we have a TV available to watch the service while you watch the kids.  If you and a partner are interested in forming a nursery team, or if you would like to be paired with someone, please let us know.

Kitchen Team

We love to eat together. We are Baptist after all.  But eating together means organizing meals and taking care of our kitchen.  If this is your skill set, let us know.

Other Teams

We have a team for pretty much every area of church life.  Contact our staff to get a full list of our teams and committees.

Join a Ministry Team

From changing light bulbs to teaching Sunday school, there is a job for everyone in the life of our church.  Contact our staff for a full list of jobs.

Get Involved in Our Community

Join us as we seek to reach the people of Hamilton with the love of Christ and the hope of the Gospel.  We meet the second Sunday of every month to brainstorm how we can do just that.  To see when our next meeting is, check our announcements and master calendar and look for “Community Missions.”

6

Join Our Church

You do not have to be a member of our church to get involved here, but membership is another level of commitment and inclusion in our church family.  If you are interested in being baptized or joining our church, please see our membership page.

7

Love. Serve. Grow. Tell

Join us in our mission to love God and neighbor, serve God by serving one another and those in our community, grow in Christlikeness, and tell the story of God’s love.
